Moving appliances such as fridges, washing and drying machines may require new connectors to water and gas supply systems. If you can not perform installation by yourself then hiring a licensed plumber or appliance repair man would be needed. Your movers may help you to do such installation; however, there will not be any liability in case of pipe or wall damages which may lead to water damage.

Pack essentials including medicine in a separate box and label them.

If you have kids, we recommend to pack their toys a day or two before the move. Let them be happy before the move and right after moving in into a new place.

Use standard moving boxes. It will be easier and faster to stack them inside of the truck.

Fragile items should be wrapped in a few layers of paper with some extra cushioning. Make sure to fill any hollow spaces with crushed paper.

Place heavier items such as books in small boxes.

Make sure you can close boxes easily and that nothing is sticking out through the top or bottom of each box.

Make sure both ends of boxes are taped securely.

Pack cats and dogs into different boxes.
